But we believe open interpretation needs a stable foundation. Whether you practice Zi Wei, BaZi, Western, or Vedic astrology, the first step is always chart calculation — not background material added after the fact, but the basis for every judgment that follows.
Who we are
Astralium is the birth chart data layer between AI and traditional chart systems: we calculate birth charts correctly, organize the data clearly, and turn them into structures you can verify and take with you.
Most charting sites are built for human eyes alone. Astralium prepares data for both people and AI — a chart view you can verify, and a structured packet you can copy, follow up on, and hand to any model or practitioner you trust.
01. The chart comes before interpretation
When interpretation has no limits — when you can switch models, schools, or questions — the real question is whether every answer rests on the same correct birth chart data.
If birth time, calendar conversion, palaces, stars, luck cycles, or aspects change depending on the website, model, or prompt, you are not looking at different perspectives. You are looking at different conclusions built on different facts. That is not pluralism. That is distortion.
02. AI has language. It needs a reliable starting point.
A prompt can change how AI answers, but it cannot fix a chart that was wrong from the start. Structure is where understanding begins — AI does not need more words. It needs better data.
03. Astralium is the birth chart data layer
We provide birth chart data and optional interpretation frameworks — guidance on how to read a chart, not pronouncements on good or bad fortune. We do not deliver fixed reports that decide for you, and we do not lock answers inside the platform. What comes next is yours to judge.
04. What we deliberately refuse to do
These are not features we have yet to build. They are choices we have made.
No in-platform AI
Models change. Your choice of model should not belong to a platform. We provide stable, portable, reusable birth chart data.
We don't judge in practitioners' place
Judgment comes from experience, school, context, and responsibility. Organizing data is not the same as making a professional call.
No invented chart rules
We respect established systems and school differences. We organize and translate data — we do not invent rules, weights, or conclusions.
No one-click answers
Fewer steps do not mean deeper understanding. We would rather you know exactly what data you are providing than hide judgment behind a convenient button.
AI does not decide your life
A chart can offer understanding. Analysis can offer perspective. But important life decisions should not be handed to a model or an auto-generated conclusion.
05. Interpretation can vary. The chart should not.
Chart traditions were never meant to speak with one voice. Different schools, practitioners, and AI models can offer different readings — what must stay constant is the foundation beneath those differences.
Interpretation can stay open. The starting point must stay reliable. Your chart should belong to you — not to whichever platform happened to read it.

Astralium was never built because of AI. We were always in the business of charts — AI simply made the data layer impossible to ignore.

About the team
A small team based in the United States—founders and engineers are the same group; charting engines are built and maintained in-house.
Location & education
US bachelor's and master's degrees; each member has studied and worked in the US for more than twelve years.
Dual training
Data science and software engineering, plus more than a decade of classical Chinese charting rule research and hands-on practice.
Stance
We do not believe AI replaces practitioners; no preset lucky/unlucky verdicts in the app.
Why we built
LLMs do not cast charts reliably—structural fields drift on the same birth input; the product followed from that repeatable finding.
Delivery standards
- Golden-sample regression: full recomputation after rule or engine changes—mismatch with the locked baseline blocks release.
- Chart view and packet from one source; public cases you can copy and compare yourself.
- Verification covers chart structure and packets only—not lucky/unlucky calls, timing, or interpretation.
