Divination · one question, once
Something weighing on you? Cast once—and mean it.
Liu Yao is I Ching coin divination for one matter. You throw the coins; we chart the result accurately.
Charted by the Jing Fang method—primary & changed hexagrams, line roles, day/month clash marks, and Fu Shen Sun–Moon relations. Every field is checkable.
Common friction
One-click casts feel empty
One tap, a hexagram appears—you never touched a coin. You don't trust that —and a result you don't trust means nothing.
You cast—then get stuck
Six honest throws, faces written down—then a wall of charting jargon —we chart it; AI can explain the terms.
What you get
- Primary and changed hexagrams—name and structure
- Each line's roles, markers, and Self/Other tags
- Month, day, and void lines for when you cast
- Day/month clash marks on each line, plus Sun–Moon relation labels on Fu Shen
- An AI-ready packet, plus reading instructions
Structure only—clash marks and Fu Shen Sun–Moon labels included; no luck verdicts. Judgment stays with you and whoever you trust to read it.
What is Liu Yao?
Liu Yao is question-focused divination on the I Ching's sixty-four hexagrams. Bring one clear question, throw three coins six times, get a hexagram. Jing Fang assigns line roles and reads them against the day you cast. No birth time needed—it speaks to one matter now. Astralium charts what your hands cast into verifiable data. Reading is yours: AI, a teacher, or your future self.
Where AI charts go wrong
- Asking AI to “cast for me” is wordplay—not a cast
- Describing coin faces in chat—AI often builds the wrong hexagram
- AI doesn't know your cast day—it invents calendar details
- When a role is missing, the packet lists hidden spirits—AI doesn't have to invent them
You cast. We chart. AI only reads data that's already correct.
How it works
- Settle on one question. Take three identical coins; identify their text and back sides.
- Hold the question, cup the coins, shake, throw—six times. Note the three faces each time, in order.
- Enter the six results in order. We chart the hexagram and build the AI packet.
